On Saturday, September 28th, we at M&H Towing & Recovery had the honor of participating in a meaningful fundraising event at the Montrose County Event Center during the CPRA Finals. Our mission was clear: to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer, supporting the incredible work of the Bosom Buddies chapter in our community.
As a company deeply rooted in our community, we believe in the importance of giving back. This event was an opportunity to demonstrate that commitment in a vibrant and impactful way. Our goal was to “Turn the Grandstands Pink,” encouraging everyone to wear pink and join us in a united display of solidarity against breast cancer. The sight of our community coming together was truly inspiring.
To facilitate fundraising, we offered special edition pink t-shirts for a minimum donation of $5.00. These shirts were more than just a piece of clothing; they became a symbol of hope and support for those affected by breast cancer. Seeing so many attendees proudly wearing them reinforced the message that we are all in this together.
A standout feature of the evening was our matching fundraiser, made possible by the generosity of local sponsors who pledged to match donations up to $3,500. This initiative allowed us to double the impact of every contribution, showcasing the power of community support. We were thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and generosity of our neighbors, making a tangible difference in the lives of those facing breast cancer.
At the end of the night, we had the privilege of presenting a check to the Bosom Buddies team, symbolizing the funds raised through this collaborative effort. This moment was a highlight for us, embodying the strength and resilience of our community. It reminded us of why we do what we do and the importance of standing together for vital causes.
Looking back, we are immensely proud to have played a role in this event. It reaffirmed our commitment to supporting initiatives that impact the lives of our friends and neighbors. The overwhelming turnout and support we received demonstrated the collective spirit of our community in the fight against breast cancer.
